Joanne was born in Hertfordshire, England and moved to Perth, Western Australia at the age of nine.
Always displaying a talent for art, after finishing high school, Joanne went on to study Fine Art in Melbourne for a year before returning to Perth and switching to Graphic Design for a further three years.
Upon finishing college, Joanne worked as a freelance Illustrator on many projects, her favourites being anything to do with children's stories & texts, fashion Illustrations for newspapers & magazines and also, portraiture.
After a long break from the art world in order to be a mum above most things, Joanne rediscovered the joys of art and is loving every minute creating the artwork that hopefully, you will enjoy too.
Joanne has also, written an Australian children's story book and is currently in the process of illustrating it.
